Tarragona has it’s own fair share of street art, often hidden in bricked up windows, doorways, abandoned buildings and dark alleys; it’s a political, subversive, ironic and poetical mix of takes and styles which adds to the visual contrast of this city.
Most can be found in the Part Alta, although industrial walls along railway and car parks have their fair share too. Street art has also been taken on by a group of local artists who use empty shop windows as a canvas which undergoes seasonal updates.
