Light bites at La Cocotte
La Cocotte has only been open for over a month and has already become a favourite amongst Tarragona ‘insiders’.
Situated in the Part Alta, close to the Museum of Modern Art, La Cocotte is a cute, bright, airy, light and peaceful and little cafe’ perfect for a bocadillo, coffee, tea and cakes, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, quiches, salads home made lemondades and thirst quenching juces (they use what ever is in season and buy their fresh ingredient from the Saturday fruit and veg market at the Placa del Forum).
The quirky furniture in the cafe is largely recycled, put together and re-invented with hand stitched cushions and retro twists.
Open on Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 to 13:30 and from 18:00 to 22:00 hrs
and on Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00hrs and you can also find them on Facebook

How to get there? Head to Placa del Forum and walk to the rare end. You can spot the outside seating are of la Cocotte close to Ares restaurant (the entrance is on the other side of the building in Carre de la Portella.
